Responsibilities

• Perform embedding, microtomy, routine and special stains, and immunohistochemistry on human tissue to produce microscopic slides.
• Perform quality control on completed slides and record observations.
• Identify problems that may affect diagnosis and results and document instrument maintenance.
• Comply with laboratory policies and safety procedures.
