• Prepares and processes tissue samples for routine histologic techniques to be examined under a microscope by a pathologist.
• Fixation, processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining of human and animal tissue for evaluation.
• Ensures laboratories compliance with JCAHO, DHEC, CLIA and CAP standards.
