Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Histology or a High School diploma or equivalent with 1+ year histology experience.
• 3 months or more histology experience
• 3 months or more Immunohistochemistry experience
• Histology certifications (ASCP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Process human tissue and body fluid specimens for microscopic examination.
• Prepare histology slides and perform staining procedures.
• Section embedded tissue with a microtome and mount on slides.
• Perform immunohistochemical tests on FFPE tissue sections.
• Operate and maintain histology instruments; document maintenance.
• Adhere to QC policies and ensure proper specimen handling and processing.
