Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Facility Operations Supervisor to oversee and actively participate in maintaining Old Economy Village, a six-acre National Historic Landmark in Ambridge, PA. The role blends hands-on facility work with supervision and project planning to preserve the site's beauty and history for visitors.

You will lead a maintenance team, plan projects, manage safety and security systems, and support special programs.

Qualifications

• Two years of skilled trades work experience in commercial, industrial, or related facilities or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Active motor vehicle license required.
• Experience with carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks using power tools.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
• Preferred: experience operating lawn care, HVAC, and fire/security systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and operations at Old Economy Village to keep site safe and visitor-ready.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance projects with staff and contractors.
• Provide instruction, training, and oversight to the maintenance team.
• Enforce safety rules and manage fire and security systems throughout the site.
• Assist with preparation and execution of annual calendar of special programs and events.
