Job summary

Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture & Preservation, LLP, based in Albany, NY, is a full-service firm specializing in renovation, restoration, and adaptive reuse of historic buildings.

We are seeking a professional architectural staff member to perform assignments under a licensed Architect, develop design and construction documents, measure and document field conditions of existing structures, and support preservation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Historic Preservation or similar program
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project
• 4–8 years of experience on historic preservation projects

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural assignments under the direction of a licensed Architect
• Develop design and construction documents
• Measure and document field conditions of existing structures
• Restore and renovate historic buildings
• Collaborate with a team on preservation, restoration, and adaptive reuse projects
