Horizon Hospitality seeks a Sales and Events Manager for a historic Richmond hotel. You will lead the development of signature events, coordinating sales, planning, and guest experiences to reflect the property’s heritage and future vision.

Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, timelines, and contract oversight; evenings and weekends are required as events occur. Compensation is $60,000–$65,000 plus bonus, with comprehensive healthcare and PTO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in event planning, coordination, and sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive event plans including timelines, venues, and required resources.
• Create and execute event concepts that align with organizational goals and client objectives.
• Establish themes, activities, and event formats that engage target audiences.
• Develop and manage event budgets.
• Track expenses and reconcile accounts post-event.
• Manage contracts and ensure all parties fulfill obligations.
