Job summary

Caris Life Sciences, Inc. is seeking a Histology Technologist I to support pathology under supervision. The role includes embedding, sectioning, H&E, and cover slipping with IHC staining and QC.

You will verify patient IDs, document in LIS, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced lab environment in Phoenix, AZ. The position requires a degree in laboratory science or completion of an accredited program, plus 1+ years in IHC/histology or related training.

Qualifications

• Experience in histology and IHC laboratory work.
• Understanding of QC, safety, and documentation requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and LIS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Embed, cut, perform H&E staining and cover slips.
• Conduct high-complexity testing including IHC and QC of slides.
• Verify patient labeling and case IDs at each step.
• Document in LIS and laboratory logs per SOPs.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and act.
• Support related duties and special projects as needed.
• Demonstrate teamwork, communication, and accuracy under pressure.
