Job summary

Caris Life Sciences seeks a Histology Technologist I to assist pathology with IHC, tissue processing, embedding, slide prep, and microtomy under supervision. The role follows SOPs, ensuring correct labeling and high quality results in a fast-paced lab.

The candidate should have 1+ years in an IHC/histology lab and relevant lab education, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Occasional after-hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in an IHC/histology laboratory or equivalent.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in a relevant lab science edge.
• Completion of an ABHES/CAAHEP accredited program or clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Performs embedding, cutting, H&E staining and cover slipping in histology.
• Conducts high complexity testing including IHC staining with automated systems.
• Adheres to SOPs, maintains case labeling, and documents in LIS.
• Maintains equipment and notifies leadership of issues.
• Communicates effectively and supports team objectives.
