Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Histology Technologist I to support pathology professionals with IHC, specimen processing, embedding, slide preparation, microtomy, and related high-complexity laboratory procedures. This role operates under direct supervision and follows established SOPs to ensure quality results.

Responsibilities include routine histology, IHC staining, LIS data entry, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or higher in a chemical/biological/clinical/medical laboratory science or equivalent training as specified.
• Experience with high-complexity testing or histology/IHC is preferred.
• ABHES/CAAHEP accreditation or 60 semester hours with chemistry and biology coursework required.

Mansioni

• Perform embedding, cutting, H&E staining and cover-slipping.
• Execute high-complexity tests including IHC staining and QC of slides.
• Maintain case labeling accuracy and LIS documentation as per SOPs.
• Maintain and monitor laboratory equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with other duties and contribute to team training and process improvements.
