Required 1+ years in an IHC/histology setting or 60 semester hours with NAACLS-related training; a bachelor's in lab science or an eligible ASCP certification is preferred. Must handle routine lab duties and ensure quality control.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in IHC/histology or two years as Histology Technician Trainee or one year as Trainee with program completion.
• Must meet high complexity requirements per NAACLS standards.
• Preferred HT/HTL (ASCP) certification eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform embedding, cutting, H&E staining and cover slipping.
• Conduct high complexity testing including IHC staining and QC of slides.
• Maintain case labeling accuracy and document in LIS and logs.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs.
