Job summary

Natera in California is seeking a Histology Lab Operator I to assist HT/HTLs in analyzing specimens and maintaining laboratory equipment. The role supports histology workflows in a BSL-2 setting and requires accurate GDP documentation.

You will prepare tissues and slides, set up automated procedures, and help keep supplies in stock while collaborating with certified staff. A relevant histology degree or equivalent experience is required, with 0–2 years in the field.

Qualifications

• Degree or training in histology or histotechnician field as specified.
• Evidence of coursework or experience in histology within the past 5 years.
• US-degree equivalence or copy required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified personnel in clinical patient testing per SOP.
• Prepare histology materials and slides with minimal errors.
• Set up equipment and support automated lab procedures.
• Perform daily tasks and maintain instrument operation.
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and document GDP-compliant data.
