Qualifications

• Six (6) years progressively responsible work experience in a clinical pathology facility including hematology, urinalysis, fecal analysis, clinical chemistry, exfoliative cytology, anatomic pathology and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect supervision of histology staff and technicians.
• Plan, assign, and adjust work to maximize efficiency while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Advise and assist personnel; troubleshoot in the laboratory as needed.
• Monitor staff performance and participate in performance evaluations and goal setting.
• Assist in recruitment and interview processes; conduct staff meetings.
