Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking a Histology Laboratory Supervisor to lead the Histology/Cytology lab operations. The role includes overseeing tissue processing, microtomy, IHC, digital imaging, and pathology send-outs, with a focus on quality, turnaround times, and staffing.

The position requires 3–5 years in Histology/Pathology and prior supervisory experience is preferred. Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays, with 100% digital pathology environment and full clinical

Formación

• 3–5 years of Histology/Pathology experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred, not required.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating workflows a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manages daily histology/cytology lab operations and staff.
• Oversees QA/QC, equipment maintenance, and workflow optimization.
• Coordinates 24/7 lab scheduling and staff coverage as needed.
• Liaises with clinical and support groups to ensure timely reporting.
• Ensures safe handling and disposition of remains and inventory control.
