Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage daily histology department activities and workflow.
• Lead staff training, coaching and competency assessments.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA and SOPs.
• Prepare for internal and external audits and inspections.
• Plan, assign and schedule department staff.
• Perform quality control on instrumentation and reagents.
• Review slide quality and tissue prep; investigate issues.
• Evaluate new procedures and instrumentation.
