Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science.
• MLS(ASCP)CM certification or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years in high complexity testing.
• Prior supervisory and customer service experience preferred.
• Specialist designation from ASCP or equivalent desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance and quality assurance across lab areas.
• Develop and update training and competency materials for staff.
• train staff on procedures; ensure timely, accurate test results.
• Collaborate with management on policies, budgets and vendor contracts.
• Lead instrument/equipment evaluation, validation and implementation.
• Coordinate inspections and maintain safety, proficiency testing.
