AdventHealth in Tampa, FL seeks a Phlebotomy Technician to support laboratory operations and patient care. You will perform blood collection, prepare specimens, and ensure safe handling while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Technical skills and aptitudes related to laboratory procedures.
• English communication skills with patients, staff and customers.
• Ability to read English text and numbers and use computer applications.
• Discretion with confidential information and safety procedures.
• Phlebotomy skills and excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Perform cytopreparatory staining and accessions surgical cases with anatomy knowledge.
• Receive and set up primary specimen cultures; inoculate petri dishes.
• Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment and spaces; manage supplies.
• Participate in performance improvement activities; evaluate new equipment.
• Provide resolution to customer service issues within guidelines.
