Responsibilities

• Maintain collection, organization, and confidentiality of patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
• Process medical records requests from patients, attorneys, insurers, and other providers.
• Enter and update patient data in the EHR system accurately and timely.
• Coordinate release of information requests with proper authorizations.
• Audit records for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely documentation and retrieval of records.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of health information at all times.
