Responsibilities

• Ensures patient privacy compliance with HIPAA and related regulations.
• Receives and validates information requests and ensures proper authorization.
• Logs requests into OnBase/EPIC release systems and scans documents as required.
• Selects and provides the correct PHI from records for releases.
• Releases records in requested formats while maintaining cybersecurity best practices.
