Job summary

Cook Children's is seeking a Privacy Analyst to support HIPAA privacy compliance and PHI safeguards at our Fort Worth, TX location. You will assist with policy development, privacy metrics, and incident investigations, reporting to the Privacy Manager with discretion and professionalism.

The role requires at least two years of HIPAA/HITECH experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential; CHPC preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience directly related to HIPAA and HITECH/privacy rules or related compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education; healthcare compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining HIPAA and privacy program compliance.
• Help develop and implement privacy policies and procedures.
• Report privacy metrics to stakeholders.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve privacy violations with integrity.
• Maintain and strengthen the Information Privacy Program and investigation results.
