Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a privacy compliance professional to help ensure HIPAA privacy rule adherence and protect PHI/PII across the organization. The role emphasizes maintaining integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in investigations and reporting privacy metrics.

The position requires a minimum of two years in HIPAA/HITECH privacy areas, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualificações

• Minimum of two years' experience directly related to HIPAA and HITECH privacy rules or related compliance areas.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and management skills.
• Must multitask and maintain high discretion due to privacy issues.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in ensuring HIPAA Privacy Rule and other laws are met for PII/PHI.
• Help develop and maintain privacy policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
• Report metrics related to information privacy.
• Identify, investigate, report and resolve privacy violations with integrity and professionalism.
• Support ongoing Information Privacy Program and accurate investigation results.
• Provide professional assistance regarding data privacy to staff and clients.
