Job summary

Union Health in Terre Haute, IN seeks a Privacy Analyst to support HIPAA compliance, privacy investigations, and data governance across the Terre Haute campus. The role requires strong analytical skills, discretion, and collaboration with IT, legal, and clinical staff to protect patient information.

You will monitor privacy incidents, assist with risk assessments, prepare reports, and help implement corrective actions under the HIPAA Compliance and Privacy Officer.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rule and related federal/state privacy requirements.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills; ability to document findings clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain privacy requirements to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support investigations of privacy incidents and potential PHI breaches by gathering facts and preparing materials for determinations and actions.
• Track privacy incident data, audit findings, trends, and remediation activities; summarize results for review.
• Assist with privacy risk assessments, internal audits, and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities.
