Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or related field; enrollment in HIM program acceptable.
• 3–5 years of experience with paper and electronic medical records in HIM; strong organizational and people skills; leadership experience preferred.
• RHIT/RHIA credentials preferred; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and workflow of assigned HIM units.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and work direction to staff.
• Manage staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Lead process improvement initiatives with HIM leaders and departments.
