Qualifications

• RHIT certification and three years of progressive leadership experience in Health Information Management, or eight years HIM with three years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in EHR and Electronic Document Management systems; Epic experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate to understand data integrity in the EHR.
• Attention to detail and willingness to participate in 24-hour on-call rotation.

Education

Associate's degree in health information management

High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years HIM experience and 3 years supervisory
