Job summary

Powers Health in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Supervisor Health Info Management to lead the Release of Information (ROI) function within the HIM department. You will oversee daily ROI operations, ensure timely, accurate, and secure handling of HIPAA requests, and maintain compliance with federal/state regulations and organizational policies.

The role requires at least 2 years of HIM or ROI experience and prior supervisory experience; RHIT or RHIA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Health Information Management or ROI experience.
• RHIT or RHIA credential preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ROI operations and staff in HIM department.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and secure processing of PHI requests.
• Monitor compliance with HIPAA and regulations.
• Lead daily ROI operations and coaching of staff.
