Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a full-time ROI supervisor to oversee daily operations of the ROI team, ensuring HIPAA compliance and adherence to state and federal regulations. The role leads workflow, trains staff, and resolves escalated ROI issues.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, collaborating with Revenue Cycle and IT, and updating procedures. Prior experience in hospital HIM and leadership is preferred; RHIT/RHIA certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include high school diploma; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• Three years acute care hospital HIM experience required; leadership experience preferred.
• RHIT/RHIA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and prioritizes ROI and correspondence workflow to ensure accurate and timely operations.
• Trains staff, schedules, resolves conflicts, evaluates performance, and assists leadership with career advancement.
• Facilitates resolution of complex ROI issues with patients, providers, attorneys, payers, law enforcement, and internal departments.
• Monitors ROI performance metrics and implements continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handles requests held for various reasons and ensures timely resolution.
• Collaborates with Revenue Cycle, Risk Management, and other hospital and Capital Health Medical Group teams to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Develops and updates department procedures and job aids.
• Troublesho ts system issues and coordinates with IT for resolution.
• Maintains knowledge of privacy regulations and communicates updates to staff.
• Represents ROI in interdisciplinary committees as subject‑matter expert.
• Adapts to changing department demands for higher efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
