Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Typically 1–2 years in healthcare setting.
• Ability to learn Epic, OnBase, and related systems.
• Protect PHI and follow HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze documentation needs and classify clinical records for tests, treatments, and procedures.
• Review and process health records in Epic/OnBase according to state guidelines.
• Support coding and billing accuracy to improve metrics and turnaround times.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulations.
