Job summary

Campbell County Health seeks a Manager of Health Information Management (HIM) to guide coding, clinical documentation improvement, release of information, and enterprise information governance. The on-site role will oversee medical records integrity, policy development, and chart management in Gillette, Wyoming.

The position requires strategic leadership of the HIM team, collaboration with hospital leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• Five years of increasing responsibility and experience in a hospital-based medical records department preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years previous supervisor and/or management level experience required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements, and reviews goals and objectives for all direct reports.
• Lead diverse teams to ensure compliance with State, Federal and local regulations.
• Provides strategic direction and oversight of HIM functions in a multi-facility setting.
• Develops policies, procedures, systems and working relationships with other departments and stakeholders.
• Oversees HIM, CDM, Hospital and Physician Coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement Managers.

Education

Associate degree

RHIT or RHIA Certification preferred
