Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking an experienced Health Information Management - Manager to lead the HIM department, ensure accurate ICD-10-CM coding for admissions and readmissions, and maintain timely EHR updates in accordance with policy and Medicare requirements.

You will oversee chart audits, QA meetings, and provider communication, act as Department Head and MOD as assigned, and coach staff while preserving confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• RHIA/RHIT certification preferred; 3+ years long-term care medical records experience may be required.
• Strong computer literacy and medical terminology knowledge.
• Familiarity with anatomy and physiology concepts.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure while collaborating with staff.
• Excellent policy compliance and professional appearance.

Responsibilities
