Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a HIM Ops Data Integrity & Identity Management professional to monitor identity workflows and maintain the Master Patient Index with Epic and other systems. You will investigate data integrity issues, perform patient merges/unmerges, and support patient demographic updates in Epic.

The role requires Associate's degree or equivalent healthcare experience, with less than 2 years in Revenue Cycle or Healthcare IT.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related healthcare field.
• Less than 2 years of healthcare experience, typically in Revenue Cycle or Healthcare IT.
• Proficiency with Epic, Cerner, Harmony, OnBase, ServiceNow and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor identity and data integrity work queues using multiple software applications.
• Investigate data issues, patient merges, and data loads to ensure MPI integrity.
• Collaborate with HIT, Clinical Informatics and Revenue Cycle teams to resolve issues.
