Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks an experienced HIM/Identity Analyst to design, build, and optimize Epic HIM workflows, with emphasis on Identity and Release of Information. You will lead medium to large projects, serve as escalation point for complex issues, and collaborate with clinical leadership to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Required: college degree in CS or information science and Epic Identity/HIM certifications.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in HIM, Identity application
Active Epic certification in Identity and HIM
College degree in computer science or information science

Responsibilities

Independently leads analysis, design, build, and optimization of complex Epic HIM workflows focusing on Identity and Release of Information
Leadership for medium to large projects, including upgrades and new features
Escalation point for complex issues and root cause analysis on the EMPI and HIM functions
Partner with clinical and operational leadership to translate requirements into scalable system solutions
Provide technical guidance and QA for other analysts' work
Architect advanced HIM and Identity workflows and contribute to master patient index strategy
