Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist to resolve complex medical record issues daily. You will manage merges, unmerges, misregistrations, and amendments in Epic with a focus on data accuracy across the health system.

As part of Health Information Management, you will ensure chart integrity, work with multiple departments, and maintain high attention to detail in OnBase and related systems. Camden, NJ-based role with potential collaboration across facilities.

Qualifications

• Resolves complex data integrity issues daily including merges, unmerges, unlinking external and internal care everywhere requests, misregistrations and amendments.
• Marks patients deceased in Epic as required and ensures accuracy of scanned documents.
• Works with extreme attention to detail across multiple computer applications to protect medical record integrity.

Responsabilités

• Process patient amendment requests with healthcare providers and ensure turnaround times.
• Liaise with Patient Access and departments on misregistrations and chart corrections.
• Communicate with patients, providers and leadership about chart amendments and corrections.
• Review demographics changes using chart documentation and external databases.
• Use the Identity Events Report to monitor merges and merge statuses.
• Transfer notes between records using Care Everywhere Portal or related tools.
• Close out chart correction requests in the in-basket for deceased patients and other corrections.
