Job summary

Main Line Health seeks a HIM Data Management Technician to support the daily operations of Electronic Health Information Management Systems. You will generate reports for reconciliation and auditing, merge/split patient records, and correct charts while training authorized users and providing EMR support.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in healthcare settings, EPIC or similar EHR experience, and strong Excel/SQL skills.

Qualifications

Two years of experience in a hospital, healthcare, or medical office setting required.
Scanning or ROI experience strongly preferred.
Experience working in EPIC or other electronic health record management software preferred.
Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
Working knowledge of personal computers, keyboarding, interfaces, SQL, HL7.
In depth knowledge of medical record content, documentation requirements and state and federal regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Generate reports to perform reconciliation and auditing activities.
Perform complex merging, unmerging, and/or separating overlay of intermingled and/or duplicate patient records and chart correction.
Handle data integrity event forms and related processes.
