Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a corporate HIM Coding leader to serve as a resource for coding, abstracting and related reimbursement, charging and billing issues. The role provides direct supervision of coding and coding charge capture staff at a corporate level and monitors performance for efficiency.

You will ensure staff training, maintain productivity standards, manage workload and coding systems including Solventum, and adjust workflows to optimize revenue cycle management.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or related field; equivalent experience, education and training considered.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for corporate HIM Coding Operations, systems and staff.
