Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in the United States seeks an HIM Application Analyst to bridge IT and HIM, ensuring stable, secure HIS solutions. You will support Oracle/Cerner HIM modules, Meditech Abstracting, and related systems, coordinating resources to keep daily tasks on track and upgrades delivered.

The role requires experience in health information management software, strong project and vendor management skills, and the ability to drive improvements across multiple applications while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified in Oracle/Cerner HIM module.
• RHIA, RHIT preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of information systems experience in a health care setting.
• Significant experience implementing, integrating and supporting in-house and ancillary applications.
• Excellent project management and vendor management skills.
• Ability to lead new and upgrade application projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Document, test, communicate and resolve identified problems.
• Knowledge of current health IT trends and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and HIM/Coding management to build stable, secure system solutions.
• Maintain and support Oracle/Cerner HIM modules, Meditech ABS and related apps.
• Coordinate resources to ensure smooth operation of supported systems.
• Identify, resolve errors and implement software upgrades and enhancements.
• Contribute to strategic planning for HIS area and ROI considerations.
