Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital is seeking an HIM Application Analyst to support Oracle/Cerner HIM module, Meditech ABS, and related interfaces while coordinating IT resources for reliable system performance.

The analyst serves as a liaison between IT and the HIM department, driving upgrades, ROI considerations, chart completion, and MRN/account merges. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and RHIA/RHIT preferred.
• Certified in Oracle/Cerner HIM module.
• 3–5 years in healthcare IT supporting applications.

Responsibilities

• Build stable and secure integrated HIM software solutions.
• Coordinate resources to ensure smooth operation of supported systems.
• Evaluate upgrades and implement new technologies.
• Document problems, test fixes and communicate results.
