Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an HIM Analyst for our Ventura, CA site to support medical records and ROI processes. This fully onsite role focuses on timely, accurate chart processing, subpoenas review, and information release while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include patient record validation, deficiency notification to physicians, and daily department communications. Minimum HS diploma with up to 2 years in healthcare/office environments is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for the role.
• 0-2+ years of experience in an office, business, operations, customer service or healthcare field.
• Understand and apply HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy.
• Experience indexing records and handling basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Answer department phone and route inquiries.
• Process continuity of care and ROI requests promptly.
• Review subpoenas for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with release of information and ensure compliance.
• Support chart processing and documentation quality.
