Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year health information related experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong data entry and communication skills.

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with company and facility policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
• Maintain working knowledge of company and facility software.
• Adhere to policies and codes of conduct.
• Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and/or fluctuating volumes.
• Assist with additional work duties as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy compliance in all tasks.
• Manage patient health records and prepare new charts.
• Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and assist with walk-ins.
• Assist with administrative duties and scheduling as required.
• Train associates in the HIS I position and generate manager reports.
• Meet productivity standards and participate in project teams.
