Guidehouse in Ventura, CA is seeking a HIM Analyst for the CMH hospital. The role focuses on medical records processing, release of information, and ensuring timely, accurate chart completion. It's a full-time, onsite position with hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PT.

You will handle ROI requests, subpoenas, record indexing, and QA reviews, while adhering to HIPAA and department policies. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, and 0-2 years of related experience is typical.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED is required.
• 0-2+ years of experience in an office, business, operations, customer service or healthcare field.
• Ability to handle confidential information and adhere to HIPAA policies.
• Experience with medical records or ROI is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Answer department phone and process continuity of care and ROI requests.
• Review subpoenas to validate requests and ensure compliance.
• Process ROI requests and assist with release of information workflows.
• Perform medical record processing, including prep, scanning and indexing.
• Monitor quality and integrity of patient records and identify deficiencies.
• Support chart processing policies and physician notifications.
