The role covers HIL testing for powertrain, ADAS, body, chassis, and infotainment ECUs, plus system bring-up, debugging hardware and software, and test automation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
• Strong experience with HIL systems (dSPACE, NI, Vector, ETAS, or similar).
• Hands-on experience in ECU commissioning and integration.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• Experience with test automation tools (Python, CAPL, MATLAB/Simulink, TestStand, CANoe).
• Good understanding of ECU architecture, sensors, and actuators.
• Experience in debugging hardware and software issues.

Aufgaben

• Develop, configure, and maintain HIL test benches for ECU validation.
• Perform HIL testing for automotive ECUs (Powertrain, ADAS, Body, Chassis, or Infotainment).
• Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on system and software requirements.
• Perform system commissioning, integration, and bring-up of ECUs on test benches and vehicles.
• Debug hardware, software, and communication issues during testing and commissioning.
• Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze test results.
• Support fault injection, boundary testing, and regression testing.
• Work closely with system, software, and calibration teams to resolve issues.
• Document test results, defects, and validation reports.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards and quality processes.
