Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a hands-on HIL test engineer to lead hardware-in-the-loop commissioning, setup, integration and rigorous troubleshooting for automotive propulsion systems.

You will configure and operate dSPACE HIL systems, including ControlDesk/AutomationDesk, perform hardware wiring and validation, and work with controls, calibration and validation teams to resolve issues. MATLAB/Simulink experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Responsibility for HIL commissioning, setup, integration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with dSPACE HIL systems: configuration and commissioning.
• Hardware setup, wiring, integration, calibration and validation of HIL benches.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication, and integration issues during HIL testing.
• Strong understanding of automotive propulsion systems.
• Experience with CAN, CAN FD, LIN and automotive protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot dSPACE ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, or similar HIL tools.
• Execute and support HIL test cases, system validation and regression testing.
• Collaborate with controls, calibration, software and validation teams.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and document defects and resolutions.
• Support HIL bench commissioning and readiness activities for new programs.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and automotive test environments is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands-on laboratory skills are required.
• Automotive OEM/Tier-1 experience, particularly in propulsion/powertrain systems, is highly preferred.
