Qualifications

• Full-time student pursuing ABET-accredited undergraduate degree in civil engineering with interest in transportation
• Coursework in related field
• Familiarity with design and production software; ability to develop project documents and collaborate with project team

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects/engineers with basic design tasks, including research, simple studies, and layout support
• Prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, modeling, graphics, design development, and construction phases
• Support the creation of presentation and marketing materials
• Assist with construction phase activities, including site visits, RFI responses, reviewing shop drawings, and updating record drawings
• Follow established quality control procedures and ask questions as needed
• Learn and apply department and company standards and best practices
• Develop basic design, analysis, and technical skills through hands-on experience
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members
• Receive guidance from supervisors and team leaders
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other multidisciplinary team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned
