Job summary

You’ll handle snow removal, traffic control, asphalt repairs, and reports; CDL Class A required; OSHA rules; forklift cert preferred; 40-hour week with overtime during weather events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of truck and heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License with Class A endorsement required.
• Knowledge of patching highways and OSHA safety rules.
• Knowledge of basic roadway construction and drainage systems.
• Forklift certification and safety training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks and heavy machinery to maintain roads, culverts, bridges, and drainage structures.
• Inspect equipment before and after use for proper fluid levels, tire pressure, and mechanical functioning.
• Replace catch basins and repair field tile drainage.
• Provide traffic control and flagging at road construction sites.
• Perform asphalt repairs, mowing, brush and tree removal, and snow removal as needed.
• Load and transport materials such as crushed stone, sand, and salt.
• Maintain work reports and ensure DOT compliance.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Overtime or schedule changes during weather events.
