Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain complex equipment safely under limited supervision.
• Provide work direction and assist Highway Maintenance Assistants; set up traffic control.
• Operate snow plows, wing plow, sander, and other winter maintenance equipment.
• Maintain road surfaces, signage, and striping; oversee equipment maintenance.
• Install and maintain weather stations and automated gates; record weather observations.
• Attend required trainings to obtain certifications and maintain qualifications.
