Job summary

State of Wyoming is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician to join WYDOT’s Meeteetse team. The role focuses on routine and emergency maintenance to keep Wyoming’s highways safe and efficient for the traveling public.

• Knowledge of safety practices and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates complex equipment safely and proficiently.
• Trains incumbents in operating maintenance equipment.
• Provide work direction to Highway Maintenance Assistant employees.
• Flag traffic and set up traffic control devices under supervision.
• Operate trucks with various attachments for snow removal and surface rehab.
