Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience or an approved acceptable equivalence.
• A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
• Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of placement in the position.

Responsibilities

• Operates medium duty equipment and larger rollers and tandem dump trucks for road construction, repair, and preservation.
• Coordinates the placement of traffic control devices to set up a maintenance work zone per state manuals.
• Assists in emergency and inclement weather operations and may work overtime, nights, or weekends.
