Qualifications

• Education/Experience: 1 year post-high school education/experience.
• License/Certification: Valid Commercial Driver's License, Class A (CDL-A) with appropriate tank endorsement.
• Other Requirements: MVR standards; pre-employment drug screen per US DOT; ability to lift 50 lbs; must be reachable 24/7.

Responsabilités

• Operates and troubleshoots complex highway maintenance equipment and participates in winter and emergency road services.
• Maintains equipment and performs field adjustments and repairs; reports issues to supervisor.
• Monitors winter conditions; determines plowing and abrasives application actions per safety policies; trains entry-level staff.
• Supervises small crews and contractors; enforces safe, environmentally responsible methods and department policies.
• Works under adverse conditions with high-speed traffic; ensures public safety and project progress.
• Performs heavy physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, across varied terrain.
• Responds to winter maintenance and other traffic emergencies 24/7 year-round.
