Job summary

HNTB seeks a leader to head a professional discipline department, overseeing design, development and delivery of project tasks within scope, budget, and quality targets. You will coordinate priorities, staff assignments, and staffing schedules to provide resources at the right time.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10 years of practical experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred and PE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the department's operating budget and forecast updates.
• Oversees discipline-specific engineering department staffing, development and mentoring.
• Supports strategic planning and SSA process on project pursuits.
• Supports contracting processes including scope, work plans and fee reviews.
• Manages project delivery processes, planning reviews and performance metrics.
• Leads multiple teams and ensures staffing and resource allocation.
