You will manage scope, schedule, budget and quality for complex projects while mentoring staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams, clients and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 10 years of practical experience including 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred; 12 years of practical experience and 4 years supervisory experience are desirable.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred; AICP and PMP certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develops, monitors and manages the department's operating budget and forecast updates.
• Oversees growth, development and performance of the engineering department.
• Coordinates department activities, assigns staff, and establishes priorities.
• Ensures staff development, mentoring and training needs are met.
• Collaborates with other groups and supports strategic planning and SSA/SCA/SDA processes.
• Leads recruitment, staffing plans and performance/compensation reviews.
• Manages project management activities including scope, schedule and quality.
• Directs multiple teams with significant supervisory responsibilities.
