Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks a full-time Highway Engineer for its Shelton, CT office to lead transportation projects for public agencies and municipalities.

The role emphasizes complete streets, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and client-facing responsibilities in a growing New England practice. You will develop plans from concept to final documents, perform 3D modeling, and design roadways, bridges, and intersections with a focus on safety, context-sensitivity, and quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• PE in CT is required.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D software.
• Experience with CTDOT or public agency clients.

Responsibilities

• Create plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation projects for public agencies and municipalities in Connecticut.
• Develop plans from conceptual design to final contract documents, including 3D modeling, alignments, cross-sections, grading, drainage, and relocations.
• Utilize construction understanding to develop temporary traffic control and construction staging plans.
