Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5–15 years of bridge/structural design experience.
• PE license in CT preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for bridge and transportation structures.
• Prepare preliminary and final design plans, calculations, and specifications.
• Develop cost estimates and assist with contract document preparation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support project delivery.
• Participate in client meetings and support project communication.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards (AASHTO, CTDOT).
• Ability to work independently.
